Finally managed to do the bloody morning injection – hooray!!! It was indeed quite bloody (more than usual) and I had to put a plaster on it before I left for work. It also felt a bit weirder than before, and I noticed an air bubble going in when I did it – hope it was oK…
I walked around all day feeling weird. My stomach and my boobs hurt (kind of like period pain). Generally, I feel exhausted all the time, bloated and just fat. And I’m hungrier than usual. Trying to eat healthy food but I did have a toasted sandwich today and a slice of pizza yesterday – oops!! Will try harder tomorrow.
When I did the evening injection I didn’t see the little drop on the syringe, so decided to call the emergency number yet again (they must hate me by now but hey, I’m paying lots for this so want to get it right!). A super nice nurse answered and said that the drop thing doesn’t even fucking matter. Oh my god. Why did I keep worrying about it? Anyway, all good. I did 75 from one syringe and then 200 from a new one. Now I have enough for one more evening injection – let’s hope I don’t have to buy more. And let’s fucking hope that I don’t lose those eggs by getting a period – hang in there, little guys (girls?)!!! Just a few more days and this will all be over! I can’t remember what I used to do with my evening (and mornings) when I didn’t have to inject. And how much free time I must have had without going for a scan every two days! OK. Not much longer. Must be positive. It’ll be over soon, and let’s hope that it’s over with a good result. Good night
