Morning injection in the evening

So earlier today I was told to do the morning injection as soon as I got home in the evening, and so of course I was in a rush to get home. And of course I then got held up at school and ended up leaving a whole half hour later than I should have. My poor babies! I rushed to the tube and the bus, which of course got stuck in traffic again and made me very stressed. Finally home, I tried to be as quick as I could with the bloody injection, but OH MY GOD it’s a hard one to do!! The most difficult part was actually getting the syringe on and off the thing, which you must do a few times. Mixing the powder and liquid was OK, but I thought I saw some powder still on the glass so of course had to call the emergency number (I’m sure they love me over there…). Finally I got the liquid back in the syringe ready to inject, and then for some stupid reason decided that I didn’t get it all, so put it all back and started again, which was the stupidest thing ever, as now I really couldn’t do it. Oh god. It looks so easy when the nurse does it, and really I think they should let you do it there with some water or something, just to see what it feels like for real. I always struggle with the bloody thing. Anyway, finally got it in the syringe, fought some air bubbles (hopefully they were all gone) and injected. And oh my, it hurts. It really really hurts. And it was itchy. And bled and stained my top. So now my day is kind of ruined and I feel like sleeping, but I have to wait for a few hours now and then do the regular evening injection. I never thought I’d say this, but the pen injection that I’ve been doing seems so easy now! Who would have thought. Anyways, enough for now.

Oh, I have to apologise for the film length and quality – like I said, was struggling quite a bit and also my flatmate came in and was in the kitchen and so I felt a bit uncomfortable. Better quality film tomorrow, I promise!

Yes, still the same day and yet another injection…

I have to say, I’m getting quite sick of this. Not that I dislike them or anything, but I feel like all I do revolves around these eggs now. These thoughts go round and round my head all day – must be home in time to inject, must not drink coffee, must drink water, must eat healthy food, must relax, must relax, MUST RELAX!@@£$%T%^T^ hahaha I’m really going crazy.

Anyway, yes of course I also jinxed the second injection by praising it and saying how much easier it was than the second hellish one. And then, disaster – there was no little drop on the syringe. Seriously, why can’t this be just a tiny little bit easier??? But fear not, I powered on and managed to do it. Got the little bugger to appear and injected so all fine now. And now I’m also ready to go to bed, because guess what I have to do tomorrow at 6:30am? That’s right, fucking inject again. Well, little eggs, you’d better be growing real good in there. I can’t wait for the day when I can finally have lots of hours of sleep and drink coffee and alcohol and not feel like the only thing I exist for are this bloody eggs. And again, not that I don’t love you, little ones. Have I gone completely bonkers? Yes. OK, me and my eggs will sign off now. Till super early tomorrow…
